International Programs

At the Tampa Bay Roundtable, in partnership with the Center for Attachment & Trauma, we believe that healing begins when connection is restored. Our international programs partner with governments, INGOs, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen systems of care for children and families worldwide.

Our Areas of Focus

We believe that sustainable impact comes from equipping the people who care for children every day. Our trainings, workshops, and supervision models provide community-based workers with practical tools for responding to trauma, building secure relationships, and supporting families through healing and growth.

Capacity Building

Trauma-Informed, Attachment-Based Approaches to Child Protection & Welfare Systems

We partner with agencies and organizations to strengthen child protection and welfare systems by integrating trauma-informed, attachment-based approaches. Our work helps ensure that policies and practices go beyond safety and compliance to foster genuine healing, resilience, and belonging for children and families.

Schools can be powerful places of safety and resilience when educators are given the right support. We support teachers and administrators create trauma-sensitive classrooms that prioritize felt-safety and connection. Our programs empower educators with strategies that reduce re-traumatization, strengthen learning, and support emotional regulation.

Trauma-Informed Classrooms

Program Development & Consultation

We collaborate with organizations to integrate trauma-informed, attachment-based practices into existing child and family services. Through consultation and program design, we help agencies build structures that are culturally responsive, sustainable, and effective. Our approach ensures that families receive care rooted in connection and long-term healing.

Mental health and psychosocial support should not stand apart from child protection and welfare — it should flow through every service a family receives. We work with partners to weave trauma-informed, attachment-based care into education, protection, and community programs, making healing and resilience accessible in every setting where children and families are served.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Integration

Staff Wellbeing & Burnout Prevention

Caring for children and families impacted by trauma is meaningful work, but it is also heavy work. We provide tools and frameworks that support staff wellbeing, reduce burnout, and build resilience. Through supervision, reflective practice, and organizational consultation, we help agencies care for the caregivers so they can continue to serve with strength and compassion.

Family Strengthening & Alternative Care Support

Children thrive best in safe, nurturing families. We support organizations working in foster care, kinship care, reunification, and residential or orphanage settings by helping create environments where children feel safe, connected, and supported. Our approach focuses on strengthening relationships and building systems of care that promote stability, belonging, and resilience for every child.
