The Tampa Bay Roundtable is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering collaboration, advocacy, and education in the Tampa Bay region to address trauma, strengthen attachment, and support stakeholders in child welfare. The organization serves as a gathering place for the community to come together to create lasting change and resiliency.
Mission
The Tampa Bay Roundtable is a collaborative effort to strengthen the child welfare system through trauma-informed, attachment-focused practices. We aim to build a more connected, informed, and supportive system that centers the relational needs of children and families. Our work focuses on creating spaces where families can reconnect in meaningful ways, engage in everyday experiences that support healing, and feel a sense of community during a time that often feels isolating. Through key initiatives—including a home-like visitation center, community education and support, roundtable discussions that explore and improve systemic practices, and targeted trainings—we strive to foster shared understanding, relational trust, and practical tools for change. By bringing together families, professionals, and community members, we are working toward a system that doesn’t just respond to crisis but builds lasting connection and resilience.
Vision
A collaborative community where trauma-informed, attachment-focused practices promote healing, stability, and expedited permanency for children and families through early intervention and community support systems.
